When summer and the high season come to an end, it frees space to the ones who like to travel differently. Leaving behind the hot temperatures, the weather is milder but just as pleasant. One can appreciate the natural beauty of the landscapes without the hustle and bustle; and the overall experience gets more authentic.

INDIAN SUMMER IN SAINT-TROPEZ 🌞

From September, the fervor of summer gives way to a more peaceful and relaxing experience. The village of Saint-Tropez can be “re-discovered” as well as the beauty of this protected area.

The mild temperatures are ideal for practicing sports - the Mediterranean sea is still warm, perfect for a swim or practicing sea-wading. Hiking and mountain biking can now be enjoyed at any time of the day.
And for those who simply want to enjoy the sun, the bar and restaurant terraces can still be enjoyed all day long!

September will transition to October with the fantastic event “Les Voiles de Saint Tropez” - the first sailing event on the Mediterranean coast. With family or friends, it is a memorable experience to watch regattas performed by some of the most beautiful classic boats as well as some of the most ultra-modern ones.

Lily of the Valley welcomes guests on the Saint-Tropez Peninsula all year round.

THE MANY FACES OF MEGÈVE IN AUTUMN ⛰️

Fall is the best time to celebrate nature. Yellow, orange, brown… this is the color palette of Megève at the time of the year. “Brilliant sun, flamboyant trees, stunning landscapes… In the fall, Megève transforms. While the green of the trees ignites in a palette of warm colors, the leaves naturally fall one by one onto the ground which they cover to form a magnificent carpet of orange hues.” Visit Megève Tourism website to get the best ideas to enjoy breathtaking Alpine scenery in a more colorful way!

A wide choice of activities remains available at this time of year: hiking, cycling, golf, paragliding, hot-air balloon...
As the mid-term holiday kicks in, families will simply enjoy spending time together, picking mushrooms in the forest nearby or visiting cheese-making farms! A well deserved “Gouter” (French version of afternoon tea) is served everyday at Coeur de Megève to end a perfect day.

For food lovers, the Toquicimes festival takes place on the weekend of October 20th, celebrating mountain cuisine. The patron of the 2023 edition is the famous three-Michelin-star Chef Glenn Viel.

WRAPPED IN THE WARMTH OF RESCHIO IN UMBRIA 🍂

“As the autumn early morning mists rise above the valley, the warmth of the sun transforms the forests into a tapestry of rich golden hues. It is a privilege to ride out with only the sound of nature and to glimpse a deer or hare dashing through the undergrowth, such are the bright sunny days at Reschio.”

From mid-September, Reschio offers guests an exclusive experience: truffle hunting. Accompanied by expert guides, guests have the privilege of learning not only how to find and identify truffles, but also how to cook them during a cooking class.

This is a moment to be experienced only during this season and the occasion to enjoy the exceptional environment of Reschio Estate, in a different way.
